Christy Terefenko

Christy Terefenko graduated from West Chester University in West Chester, PA with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with a concentration in vocal music.  She also holds a minor in Piano and Music History.  While at West Chester she was a member of the premier Concert Choir, secretary and treasurer of the American Choral Directors Association, and a Music Educator National Conference member.  She also was a Student Director for the University and volunteered as a music teacher at the campus daycare.  She student taught at Marple Newtown High School, where she assisted in the musical, directed a 120 person choir, and choreographed an entire show for the Jazz Choir.  She also student taught at Boothwyn Elementary, where she conducted the Bell Choir and the 5th grade Choir.  For two years she was the music director at Germantown Academy Day Camp where she was responsible for teaching more than 300 students.

At Freedom High School she is the assistant to the 9th and 10th grade Patriot Choir and the 11th and 12th grade Concert Choir.  She also currently teaches General Music, grades 6 - 8, at East Hills Middle School.

Michelle Hubbard

Michelle Hubbard graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa with a Bachelor of Music Education degree.  She taught both Middle School and High School vocal music in Osceola, Iowa before coming to Pennsylvania in 1990.  She has taught vocal music for the past 10 years in the Bethlehem Area School District for Elementary, Middle, and High School levels.

At Freedom High School she directs the 9th and 10th grade Patriot Choir, the "Let Freedom Ring" Handbell Choir, the Show Choir, Les Chanteurs, and the 11th and 12th grade Concert Choir.  Mrs. Hubbard is serving as the Director of Contemporary Music for Christ Church UCC and is also a very accomplished musical theater director in the area.
